Baby Plum-Headed Parakeet

All of our baby Plum-heads are approximately 12 weeks old and parent reared. All plum-heads have the ability to mimic but are not well known for their speaking abilities. Plum-heads are intelligent and affectionate small birds with an outstanding adult plumage. They are considered a intermediate bird for owners who are looking for a slightly bigger challenge and responsibility. A part of the ring-neck family these birds require daily handling and interaction to remain tame but can be more well tempered then their larger cousins. These birds make strong bonds with their owners but are also highly intelligent which makes for a great interactive pet.
